Research Mission & Methodology
In my academic research, I co-design and evaluate information systems, sociotechnical infrastructures, and AI tools that equitably support vulnerable populations by bridging human-centered design, algorithmic accountability, and participatory policy-making to reduce global harm and safeguard public good.
My methodology is grounded in human-computer interaction and community-based participatory design, centering the lived experiences of vulnerable users to inform the development and governance of ethical, inclusive technologies.
I am proficient in qualitative research methods including interviews, co-design workshops, and ethnography, as well as computational approaches like network analysis and natural language processing to support mixed-methods inquiry.
